Women's Global Health and Human Rights Book signing
On Thursday, May 28, 2009 the Diversity Committee of the Poughkeepsie Branch of the American Association of University Women, Inc. sponsored an event at the Wallace Visitor Center at the FDR Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park. Dr. Padmini (Mini) Murthy, AAUW member and one of the authors of Women's Global Health and Human Rights, read from and signed copies of the book as she spoke about violence against women.
